Touch Ups
The ink used in permanent makeup softens and lightens gradually over time, making occasional touch ups necessary. Everyone holds pigment differently as no one’s skin, body chemistry, or lifestyles are exactly the same. Generally your permanent makeup should last about 2 years before you start to notice color fading or oxidizing. Some clients are able to go even longer, as results do vary.

FIRST TOUCH UP:

In the weeks following your procedure the color will gradually become lighter as the tissue heals and the pigment starts to stabilize in the skin. A touch up appointment or "perfection visit " is recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure to assess your healed result and to fill in any area that may have retained less pigment during the healing process.
This 6-8 week touch up is not included in your initial procedure price and is paid separately.

FOLLOW UP & MAINTENANCE:

Permanent makeup changes over time for several reasons. Fading can occur due to sun exposure, tanning, skin care products/makeup remover, and your skin’s natural exfoliation process.
Exposure to these elements oxidizes the pigment, which can make the color fade or change shade. For these reasons it’s important to come in for a touch up appointment every few years.

These visits are typically shorter and less expensive than the original work that was done.
